The Questions Being Asked

Where have we been? Where are we going? Who are we there?
How can we love better?
Who are the people that make us who we are?
What do we already know? What do we not yet know?
What are others like? What are we like?
How does God work in a life?
What is good? How did we learn it was good?
What do we value, and how do we show it?
What does simplicity look like?
What is worth seeking, keeping, protecting?
Are we content? Are we comfortable? Are we honorable?

So what?

I had no idea Christy [that's with a "t"] is such a talented writer.I am truly impressed. You all left today and already I so miss you but at the same time know that God will keep “you in the palm “of His hands. Watching you pack today with such focus and purpose made me feel good about your journey and the life changing experiences you will have. Please know I love you both so much.We are all cheering you on. Que tengan buen viaje y vayan con Dios. mamita

Sounds like a great trip so far which will result in giving you an understanding that the US is an outlier relative to the rest of the world in so many ways.
I’m off to AK in a couple of days and will try to keep track of you as email is available to me.
    Take care, Dan

You guys are great! I wish I would have done something like this! You guys are actually living the “there’s more to life than this” dream. I am jealous. Trying to keep up with you thru your blogs! Take care and be safe!

Hello again from 2 Aussie strangers following your travels! We’ve just caught up with your blog after a few hectic months away from the cyber world.
Definitely Lewis’s encounter with the mountain cats is the highlight to date! Well done for surviving, it sounded sickeningly real and scary… but the ‘tolkienesque’ journal entry was well worth it, yes? As always, we have enjoyed your insights and offer you our very best wishes for a beautiful Christmas,
    with love
